Description:  Heavens Gate is an all volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care and placement of pets in need. To promote spaying and neutering all pets as an alternative to euthanasia as a means of over population control.  About Us: We are a group of volunteers in the Baltimore Metro area working with abandoned, abused, orphaned and neglected pets. HGAR is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, and participants in PETsMART's LUV-A-PET adoption program. We are donated space in the store to show pets that are ready for adoption. HGAR has been at the Glen Burnie Ordnance Rd. Store for 3 1/2 years. We are currently seeking a farm for our own no-kill shelter and pet sanctuary. <p>

Description:   Coast to Coast is a doxie rescue group that has members in the US and Canada.  We pull from shelters, take owner turn ins, puppymill rescues, etc. and carefully rehome them.   We also take doxie-mixes as long as the dog looks like a doxie.  We have several "doxie-experts" as members who are able to answer questions about doxie issues.  The average length of rescue experience with our group is between 10-20 years.  We are very proud of our organization and members!<!--'"</title></head>-->
